Washing Blankets Common Sense
If the blanket stained with oil partial, use a soft cloth dipped in a mild alkaline detergent gently wipe it. The washing liquid with acidic or highly alkaline will affect the quality of the blanket. Meanwhile, the selected detergent can not have a bleaching function, because bleaching will affect the softness of the blankets. You can also add some edible base to the boiled water, soaking about 10 minutes, oil would be separated.
If the oil cover a wide range, it will require the whole cleaning. Also with mild detergent to wash. Notice that, blankets should use hand washing or dry cleaning. Under normal circumstances it's not recommended to use machine washing. If it has to, you'd better put the blanket into net bag which can guarantee the blanket not deformed. Blankets can't be washed frequently, once half a year would be better.
Washing Step
1. Immerse the blanket in a neutral or weak alkaline washing liquid about half an hour in 20 degrees, do not rub hard. First with warm water, then cold water, repeat this until clean.
2. Add a small amount of white vinegar which can ensure the blanket in bright color.
3. After blankets cleaning, we need to comb it with soft bristle brush.
4. If there is no spotting blanket, you can use the sun to anti-virus, but please avoid exposure.
5. Hanging blanket by natural drying, avoid exposure under the hot sun.
Blankets Maintenance
1. Daily care, you can shake or beat to remove dust.
2. Keep clean and dry to prevent mildew infestation. You can put a few grains wrapped in paper clip mothballs, and then wrap the bag after storage.
3. Wool blankets can't be stacked together with the sharp, rough items which may make the wool blankets bad.
