Five tips to wash blankets

First of all, for the matter of how to wash blankets in the right way, you should be clear of what kind of material the blanket is. The blanket cleaning methods of different material is different. According to the current market, we roughly divided blankets into two large categories. One kind is pure wool blankets, one kind is polyester blanket. The method to wash the two kinds of blankets is different.

1. Melt neutral soap flakes or superior washing power in the basin into 20℃ mild liquid soap. After immersing the blankets in the clean water, squeeze the water from the blankets slightly and rub and squeeze the blankets in the liquid soap. The wash in the clean water repeatedly.

2. If the blankets are pure wollen, put about 50g white vinegar in the last washing process.

3. after washing, roll the blankets and press slightly to remove the extra water. Brush the blankets neatly to the original square shape.

4. With the help of two sticks of bamboo poles to set up the blankets parallelly to dry in the shade. No exposure to the sunshine to avoid fade in color and deformation.  

Brush the blankets again after dryness to recover the softness and beauty.

How to wash polyester blankets then? Keep the water temperature around 20℃ to 40℃. Overheat or lower heat may cause the uncleanness and color fade. What's more important is avoide drying blankets under the sunshine and the right way is to dry them in the shade to make blankets feel more comfortable.

The main raw material of blankets are polyester, acrylic, cotton etc... As to the cheap cost and convenient way to achieve, polyester has become the main raw material of 90% blankets made in China. As a kind of material made through industrial and chemical polymerization, this manufacturing technique is very mature in China. The basic material of Polyester is made by direct esterification method using PTA and EG and polycondensation of 9BHET. Which is also called PET, H(OCH2CCOCO)NOCH2CH2OH is its Chemical structural formula of long chain molecules. It's molecular weight is usually around 18000-25000. After the polymer formation, meltling point jet, forming diverse types of polyester silk by using Mechanical separation devices.
